Vicky Lloyd races to victory at Donington
Vicky Lloyd (2006 Formula Woman runner up) raced to victory in the Formula Woman Class at the Caterham Jubilee on June 3rd.
Vicky raced the only Caterham fuelled by E85 bio-ethanol out of the 350 Caterhams at the event. Formula Woman used the event to showcase a selection of their 2006 Championship Caterhams and drivers against one of the new 2007 bio-ethanol fuelled cars. Minister racing engines have initiated a test programme to not only allow Formula Woman to use an alternative-fuel, but also address emissions and consumption. However it was still important to test the bio-ethanol car in a race situation such as this to determine it's full potential.
Vicky qualified over 1 second ahead of her nearest Formula Woman competitor and finished the race over 13 seconds ahead of the second place driver Kirsty Jeffrey. Thus proving further that the bio-fuel Caterhams.......
